Yet another artist using a typewriter...
I'm an ascii/ansi artist who always tried to draw with characters and symbols. One day it just felt logical to type pictures using the typewriter as well and it turned out to be great fun and almost challenging as every keystroke is there and can't be undone. One has to deal with mistakes or start over again. If you've already spent nights and days drawing just one picture, drawing starts becoming a curse as you could ruin a whole picture just by hitting the wrong key within a blink of an eye. It's fascinating, isn't it?
I am Robert Doerfler - system administrator by day and artist at night. Don't expect any fancy bio over here. I haven't studied art, just doodling for fun and out of curiosity. I really can't remember when I started using the typewriter as a tool for drawing, as I always had one around and did little pictures every now and then. Same goes for doing ascii/ansi art. It has always been with me in some way.
